Color Speaks
In mid-2019, I built the front-end of a web application for Shaw Floors called Color Speaks. Shaw Floors showcases a physical "color wall" where customers can browse a wall of about 80 flooring swatches by walking up to it and browsing each swatch by look and touch.
The app was meant to be a digital representation of this physical wall but with a twist: each color has an object from the real world associated with it. When you browse the site, you can hover your cursor over each swatch and get a glimpse into this object, and then get the bigger picture by clicking the swatch and entering the detail page.
Basically, our objective was to take something as typically boring as the process of shopping for flooring and make it more interesting.
I led the front-end development of this application and built it with Vue.js, HTML, and Less.
