The work so far

Front-End Technical Lead
Amazon · 2021 — Present
Technical lead for A+ Content Manager, a React app used by 68,000+ daily users publishing to 20M+ products across 21 marketplaces. I drive front-end architecture and developer experience across 20+ repositories and 1,500+ teams. Along the way I’ve unified three design systems into one, cut build times by 65%, and shipped GenAI content tools with 85%+ adoption.
Web Development Engineer
Amazon · 2020 — 2021
Built Career Choice, an internal app personalized for 300,000+ employees across 14 countries and 9 languages, on Salesforce with HTML, JavaScript, Sass, Apex, and Visualforce. This is where I learned the value of localization and accessibility at scale.
Lead Front-End Web Developer
Sagepath Reply · 2017 — 2020
Led a team building responsive, component-based sites for clients including The Home Depot, Georgia Power, and Cracker Barrel. I wrote reusable JavaScript, Sass, and Vue against enterprise CMSes, and helped interview, hire, and mentor our junior engineers.
Front-End Web Developer
SA IT Services · LINDY · Insight Global · 2012 — 2016
Cut my teeth building responsive websites and internal tools with Angular, TypeScript, Sass, jQuery, and WordPress across a series of Atlanta agencies and contracts.
How I work

What I bring

Design systems that scale
Tokens, components, and docs that hold a product together as it grows. I unified three disparate design systems into one, used across 20 repositories and 1,500+ teams.
Accessible from the start
Keyboard support, screen-reader testing, and WCAG compliance are built into the component itself. Proven across 21 marketplaces and 9 languages, where accessibility either scales or breaks.
Performance as a feature
Lean JavaScript, fast builds, Core Web Vitals in the green. I cut one app’s CI build time 65%, from 32 minutes to 13, and its Babel complexity 86%.

Software that looks considered and holds up under load. The interesting work lives in the gap between a design that feels right and code that still feels that way years later. That gap is where I work.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Front-end engineering with a design-systems focus: component libraries, design-to-code, accessibility and performance work, and the occasional full product or marketing build. If it lives in the browser and quality matters, it’s in scope.

Both. I can take a Figma file to pixel-faithful, accessible code, or start earlier and shape the system, the interactions, and the edge cases alongside the designer.

TypeScript and React, usually with Next.js and Tailwind. But the stack serves the project. The constants are semantics, accessibility, and performance, whatever the framework.

Primarily open to full-time front-end and design-systems roles, with some freelance work depending on fit. The fastest way to find out is a short note about what you’re building.

I treat them as requirements. Keyboard and screen-reader support are part of done, and every build ships against a performance budget with Core Web Vitals tracked.
